Price increases for Zeon General NBR

Zeon Chemicals has been working continuously to control and improve manufacturing costs of its NBR product lines. Even with successfully implementing internal cost control procedures, Zeon Chemicals finds it necessary at this time to increase the net price of all General Purpose and Specialty NBR products to move the company toward margins that support the long-term viability of the business.

Effective January 1, 2001 the net price of all General Purpose and Specialty NBR grades will increase by @body.05/lb.

“As the only NBR producer in the USA, Zeon Chemicals cannot and will not fail to meet the minimum margins necessary for reinvestment in the NBR business” said John Stothard, Vice President and General Manager of Zeon’s Elastomers Division.
